Key safety functions are the dedicated red emergency button that can send a GPS location and call the Emergency Response Center even when the phone is locked, an amber button to request monitoring and tracking as well as a green button to track the start and the end of a shift.

Lone Worker Application
- 4 highly configurable states
- Simple: sends configurable heartbeat messages and waits for manual alarm via long press of red side key
- Tracking: sends GPS position on configurable intervals. Under 40 sec TTFF in good GPS conditions
- Man down: monitors accelerometer for man down events, sends alerts to server
- Alarm: sends current position to monitoring centre, calls Emergency Response Centre (ERC)
- Meets the lone worker device requirements of BS8484 (UK) and DIN 0825-11 (Germany)
- Configuration over the air, via Java application or via Bluetooth from a PC
- Secure communications with server using encrypted EDGE/GPRS/XML or SMS
- Lone worker alarms take priority over incoming GSM calls that are not from an ERC number
- Ability to auto-answer ERC calls to the speaker phone
- High priority alarms override other ringing tones
